E-Bikes are fast becoming the best way to get around, so we won't be surprised if you're considering buying one. We have a secret of letting you in on. The best value E-bikes are available online. That is because online E-bike retailers don't have the expense of running a brick-and-mortar store.
However, it's important that you know where your local E-bike store is located. It is for many reasons. Read on to find out why.
An E Bike Shop Near Me: Why Is It Important?
While it is cheaper and often easier to order an Ebike online, you cannot look at and touch the physical bikes in person. Furthermore, what do you do when your purchased E-bike develops an issue or requires maintenance?
Expert Advice
The advice you can receive from an E-bike shop is extremely valuable. They can assess your size and weight and recommend the right size E-bike for you.
Additionally, if you tell them what you intend to use your E-bike for, you will be recommended the correct type of E-bike. This part is crucial since you don't want to purchase a bike and find out it's wrong. You can also try to consult with ESKUTE online experts to get some advice.
Try Before You Buy
Before buying an E-bike, you need to perform some research, which isn't necessarily about the bike brand but more about the type of bike. E-bikes are as varied and numerous as their regular counterparts, so it can be tricky to choose one without trying it first. And you can take the online videos and reviews for reference.
Since you cannot "try before you buy" with online retailers, it's an excellent idea to search for an "E bike shop near me," head over to your closest store and go on the different models available.
After you've chosen your favourite type of E-bike, you can easily purchase from an online store to get the best value for your money.
But if you plan to buy an electric bike from ESKUTE, you can order a test ride before buying.
Specialist Care
Like a regular bike, E-bikes can develop issues and problems, especially if you put yours through its paces and ride it a lot. That is why you will need an E-bike specialist to take care of things.
E-bikes have many more mechanical components than their regular counterparts. You're dealing with electrical and mechanical parts, so it's not always straightforward to fix an E-bike yourself.
Your local E-bike shop can repair flat tyres, look at mechanical issues and perform health checks to ensure optimal performance.
Best For Custom Builds
E-bike shops are perfect for the super severe cyclist who needs a custom-built bike. Typically, a shop will have all the separate components available, so you can choose them to create the ultimate E-bike.
However, online is still the more convenient option if you're just after an off-the-shelf bike.
What Should I Consider When Browsing An E-Bike Shop?
When browsing your local E-bike store, keep the following in mind as it will help you choose an ideal bike for your needs:
- Type of use: Are you planning on commuting? City riding, or mountain biking?
- What is your budget? Look for bikes that are in your price range.
- Capacity and range of the battery: How far do you want to travel on one charge?
- Amount of torque: How much power do you want your bike to have?
- The bike's weight: The lighter, the better in most cases.
- Amount of gears: More gears will give you more range, but less are required for casual or city cycling.
E-Bike Shop For Battery Repair
Excessive heat and low voltage can cause E-bike battery problems. The good news is that most minor battery faults can be repaired. Your local E-bike shop is the place to go for this.
They'll perform some diagnostics and determine whether or not they can repair it or if it's simply time to replace the battery. It's worth knowing that a battery lasts around 3-5 years, so if you've had it a while, you may need to get a new one. We ESKUTE have a two-year guarantee for the battery, and you can send the battery to an appointed store in Wigan to get it repaired for free. You only have to pay the single delivery cost to the destination.
How To Find A UK E-Bike Shop Near Me
If you want to talk to an expert and try some E-bikes out for size, you can effortlessly search for your local E-bike store no matter where you are in the UK. Simply input "E-bike shop near me" into Google, and it will show the nearest options to your location.
You can also try searching for "E bike shop near me in…" (input your town), which can sometimes give you more accurate results.
The larger bike chains such as Evans, Cyclestore and Sigma Sports also now stock a range of E-bikes and accessories. You can find out where their stores are by looking on their websites.
